I have been playing in the craft room today - I have this photo of Kate when she was 6 months old. I have used the new fancy flourish stamp some Bazzill and vellum quotes. Not sure that I have the photo posting worked out - this one looks a little blurry?? Sorry about that - I am sure to get the hang of it one day!!! Hope you are all having a great Sunday! Paula

Christmas Card swap

Hi again! I am having fun with this blogging - if anyone has any tips or ideas for me please pass them on!

Just a reminder to anyone that is interested in our Christmas Card Swap Day, it will be at the Mitre Hall at 10am on Sunday 30th August. Once I have firm numbers I post it so that we all know how many cards to provide for.

For anyone that doesn't know about this and is interested in coming along please email me. Basically everyone is creating their own Christmas card and we each teach it. Then we take turns at each station and create the cards. This will be a great start to our Christmas card stash - I am behind this year!! Not sure where the year is going??

Welcome me to this world of blogging!

Hi there!! Well this is my first attempt at blogging - it is very exciting and confusing. I have written this post about 4 times now and tried to upload photos without success - I think I have it nailed this time!! I made this card earlier today for a party my son was attending earlier this evening. His mate said "Your Mum's awesome!" when he saw the card. Gotta love 10 year old boys!!

I took my daughter Kate and 2 of her friends to see Bandslam and boy were they silly!! Giggles and talking all the way through - next time I plan to drop them off and pick them up later!! Anyway I am pretty sure a good night was had by all.

I will be back soon with some more craft hopefully!
